Changes!!
Our initial plan to move Xinru to her own room started before she turned 4 years old.... and well... nothing was being done.
One fine day, i decided to do a 'BIG PROJECT'... The day was on 13 March 2010... :P
After coming back from breakfast, once i reached home, i started to pack the stuff in the study cum store room. It took me a few hours to do it. Finally after clearing all the unwanted stuff, move the items to where we going to put, did a mass cleaning up and well finished within 4-5 hours time... Ta dah!!! Study cum store room has changed to Xinru cum Study room...... felt the achivement!!! As the auntie is coming the next day to clean up the house, i feel that i should do all the shifting and throwing before she comes the next day.
Sunday morning, mom brought Xinru out for breakfast with my aunty and uncle then brought her from AMK to Toa Payoh to shop and came back about 1+ in the afternoon. Was still doing some loose packing till auntie came about 2+ in the afternoon. Got her to do up the masterbedroom first so i can bathe Xinru and let her nap. By the time she finished the room, it was about 430pm already. Got Xinru to bathe and let her nap. She woke up like 2hours later and we decided to go down to Compass Point to get the bed rail.
After getting it, went back home, had it installed and the room is ready!!! Am so happy.... Although it don't look like those small children's room that has got nice and colourful furniture as her bed frame and cupboard are those wood kind, i manage to put up for her those sweet looking kind of bedsheet for her. I had those smaller mattress placed at the wall so she will not knock onto the wall.
I planned to let her sleep on Sunday night since things has been put up but was too tired to get up after she fell asleep so she still slept with us on Sunday night.
Monday night came, after she fell asleep, got hubby to carry her over to the other room. And i went back to my room and tried to sleep. I think i am so used to having her sleeping with us in the same room, i seems not able to fell asleep. So i got a mattress and slept on the room in the room. In the middle of the night, she woke up and asked for milk, so i did the job and continue my sleep. The next thing i knew was, she fallen asleep already. :)
We will be going down to IKEA to source for study table, chair and night lights to be added into the room. :)

Last night was the first night that she slept in her own room while i sleep in my own room and she is doing it fine. :)
