Meet the Parents Session

We had our first Meet the Parents session on 24 November 2007 at the Childcare centre beside Xinru's current classroom. Sounds weird when i say first ya since she has been in the centre since she was 2 months and 3 weeks old... Reason being that the previous session, she is still in Infant Group, so basically there is nothing much to know about their activities but now she is in the Toddler Group, she has to do some handcrafts and works hence i feel it is good to know her on-goings in the Centre...

Our schedule timing is at 11am but i informed the teachers that we will be earlier as i need to go back to do housework so we reached there around 9+am and ahead of us was Xiao Hui's parents...

While waiting for our turn - Hubby looks tired ya..cause he was being called back to work and reached home only around 5am,6... :)

Finally, our turn came and we went in to see her form teacher, Teacher Julie. She told us some of the activities that they are under-going for them, we asked her about her 'pattern' in the centre and what's ahead for her....

Surprisely, her teacher only told us that she don't like people *referring to her classmate* to touch her and if they do that she will make noise and tell the teachers... Other than that she is the most obedient one in the centre.... That really caught my surprise as she is well known of her bad temper at home and tends to 'shoo' people away if she is not in her good mood.... haha...

Her teacher also mentioned that compare to her classmate, her motor development is slightly behind her classmate who are born in 2005... Hmm that explains why she is slightly behind ya but is consider not bad already... Her teachers also mention that she has improved a lot in her language.

As she is born in 2006 while the rest in 2005, the rest that is born in 2005 will be promoted to Pre-Nursey in December and will only leave Xinru with another boy, Bryan in the Toddler Group and slowly those who are in the Infant Group will be promoted to the Toddler Group and new intake in June 2008.

Understand from her teachers that she is enjoying cause the whole class has only 2 toddler and they have all the things to themselves and the 2 of them are happily dancing and running around the class... hehe
