MMR Jab

Well well... after such a long time since my last blog, think start with the recent happening first...

Last Saturday we brought Xinru for her MMR jab at The Kids Clinic. Her initial schedule was on the 19th May but the day before the jab, she catch a fever so we got to postphone it.

Early in the morning on 2 June, i bathe Xinru, let her have her milk feeding and we went to the clinic. As it was a postphoned appointment and the clinic was fully booked, we have to walk-in. The weather is so hot lately, imagine we waited for a cab for less than 10 mins, Xinru has perspire like just came out from bath...
In a short time, we got a cab, first time ever since the first visit to the clinic that we waited the cab for such a short time... hehe...

We reached the clinic at 930am and was told to go and walk and take breakfast cause the waiting time might be about 1-2 hours.... Oh my god... that's gonna be long man.... After that we went to Long John Silver which is my favourite place for breakfast. As usual, i have my Chicken Sausage set with coffee.... As Xinru just finished her milk not long ago, she only take a bit of the bread that has cheese....

After the breakfast, we were loitering around Rivervale Mall, Xinru walkin around and taking kiddy ride without puttin money and i takin pic of Xinru... We waited for about 3-3.5hours.... Real tiring...
Before we went in to the room, they took Xinru's weight and height... She is 9Kg and 76.5cm long at 4 days before 16months.... Her weight was always a concern to us but overall she is a happy and cheerful baby so it did not really become a issue. Her PD mention that she belongs to the smaller frame so everything is consider ok. Her weight and height percentile is at 50 which is just nice..... Hope she can maintain thru.

While checkin on her development, she is co-operative, PD ask her things she will respond and when the PD started to wanna inject her, she start to get worried and even before the needle went in, she started to make noise and when the jab went in, she cried.... She cried for quite a while before her cheerfulness went back to her face.

After the jab, we packed food and went home. On the cab, she almost fell asleep but maanage to keep her awake and when we reached home, she took her milk and went to sleep. Overall, she is well behave... :)
