Extra $$ = Xin Ru got new toys..

Yesterday got my pay for the month... haizz always waitin for pay to come in... hehe and tis month we got ex-gratia so i got the little princess new toys again... haha

Xin Ru loves music... so got tis for her... It plays nice music and has her favourite song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...

Some of my forum fren give tis kind of teether to their babies... And one of the baby really love bitting on the teether.. haha so cute as she bite and when u try to wipe her mouth she will start to cry... hehe i tink the teether taste nice but....

after some fuss she had made, she suddenly bite the teether and let go her hand.. hehe mean to say the teether in her mouth and handsfree... hehe she look so funny leh... but not able to capture in time... and i broke out laughin so loud and guess what happen?? She laughed out loud too... hehe

New rockin chair

Yesterday went to Bishan to get for Xin Ru a new rocker.. Tat one can be used till she becomes a toddler... hehe she seems happy w it as she play with it...

Milestone

Yesterday when i go and pick Xin ru tat time, she was on her bouncer.... I saw her lifting her 2 legs up and she used her finger to hold her toes... She look so cute... and when she saw me, she smile until her mouth big big... look so cute.... and after tat i heard one of her teacher mention that she flipped herself in the afternoon.... I hear already i was so happy and the teacher continued tat she did ask if the other teacher tried to flip her but no teacher did that... hehe then i carry her and put her on the mattress and ask her to flip for me to see but she dun wan and play her toys... hehe

I feel that Xin Ru is kind of blessed in this world.... She received lots of love from my buddies.. Just yesterday one of my buddy bought her a pink dress from Kiddy Palace... She say that she can wear it to my brother's weddin in Dec.. and my brother who is in Canada also bought her a lot of clothing there... haha....

This dress is also given to Xinru by Sharon, one of my best buddy in the office...

First Giggles

Yesterday finally i heard the giggle laughter of my baobao... Waiting for so long to hear this liao le.. hehe
I discover when she was in the playpen, she was a little cranky then i took her 'jiu jiu' toy and squeeze it and when she heard that, she suddenly giggle out loud... initially i tot she is gettin cranky again but when i did tat again she giggle out loud again... She really sounds very cute leh... hehe and her daddy hear liao came into the room and ask me what happen... and we both broke into laughter when she giggle again.... So happy to see another step that she is steppin into....

Alamak... tis few days my little baobei very cranky leh... put her down on bed only start to cry... then drink milk also dun wan to drink... and poor thing her cheek become smaller liao... haizzz When she poo yesterday, my mom say her poo very 'chou sng' then like 'huay huay' like tat.... oops... symptoms of growin teeth liao le... and keep usin her tongue go and make her gums and keep wanting to bite things.... see her like tat so heartpain..... :(

Advance Father's day celebration

We celebrated Father's Day in advance on 3rd June cause bro is going to Canada and only be back in end June so we went out to eat earlier... We took her to Esplanade for the first time and we went to eat "no Signboard' seafood.

3rd Month on earth

Time files and in a blink of eyes, she is 3 months old.... During her 3rd month of life, i discovered lots of new things in her.... She started to babble longer vowels.. and sometimes she will make sound like a little Tiger.... She is also learning to imitate all sorts of funny sound that we make to her... And she will always smile upon hearin all that...

Mother's Day

We have decided to bring her out for Mother's Day meal at Xin Fu Yin Cha @ Toa Payoh but the meal was not for me.. hehe it was for my mom... this is her first Mother's Day with her grand daughter... hehe first time bringing her to a restaurant... Oops... forget to take pic w my mom, her granny... When we are leaving the restaurant, i heard 1 girl tellin another person... 'See, she wear till so cute!!" :P

Infant Care

Because no one is able to take care of my little princess, we have to put her to Infant Care.... Why not Babysitter?? Because we think that Baby-sitter is a one to one and although Infant Care is not but she will be able to expose to more things and people so she wun be afraid of people when we bring her out....
We chose a Infant care which is near to our house.. The fees is 1K per month but as a workin mother, i am entitled to $400 subsidy and that excludes all the essential stuff so a month, it's about close to $700 bah...
I am suppose to be back to office on 2 May so in order to put my heart at ease, we decided to send her there 1 week before i go back to office... At that time, she is 2.5 months old. During the 1st 3 days, i was there for 1/2 a day, just to make sure she is ok there. After the 3 days, i left her there full day but picked her up earlier cause I REALLY MISS HER!! During her time in Infant Care, everything is ok except her sleep.... Maybe it's too noisy and the infant there tend to cry and wake her up so she could not sleep well and her cheek become smaller and smaller... Initially before we actuali signed her up for Infant Care, there were struggle inside me... I really feel sad when the tot of puttin her into the InFant Care.... But after viewing the place, i am quite at ease. But of course when we start to put her there, i told myself tat i must let go.... The first day when i went to pick her up, i call her up when she was on the bouncer... Her reaction was a bright smile on her face..... My heart melt and tears flow..... i feel so bad that i have to put her there.... I know a lot of ppl will fine me bad but what can i do??? But as time goes by, when i return back to office, i felt better and my time in office passed faster....

2nd Month of Life

During the 2nd month of life, Xinru is much much easier to handle... When she was about 1 and 1/2 month old, i started bathing her... doin all the things myself.. Actualli i started doin everything except bathing her since she was 3 weeks old... hehe
She fall sick few days after her full onth celebration..... She was down with runnin nose after we bring her out to Compass Point. It's so sad to see an infant havin running nose..... When we brought her to see PD, the PD says that she has got lots of phlgem in her throat.. the only way to make the phlgem out is to use machine to draw them out... Upon hearing that, i agree.... when the PD was gettin ready, my mom told me she should not have ask them to do tat cause it will be very hard on her... But what else can i do??? when the PD and nurse is ready, she carry her and told me not to go over cause i might be heart breaking for me.... So me and my mom stayed at ther room beside them... When the machine operates, i heard Xinru cryin out very loud and screaming....It's the cry that i have never heard before... TRUST ME!! IT IS REALLY VERY HEART BREAKING TO HEAR WHAT I HEARD!!! When i heard tat, my tears really flowed down like runnin tape water... *While writing this page, my nose is gettin uncomfortable and tears are in my eyes* We were given medication for her, 1 for consume and 1 to drop into her nose... Whenever we fed her the medication, she will cry and cry and it's really heart breaking... From that day onwards, i do not dare to bring her out till she was bigger...
As her 2nd month of life passed by, she begin to response and make little sound and play with us... Hehe Maybe she matured faster then the others bah... She is so lovely and fun baby and guess what... SHE IS A VERY HAPPY AND ALWAYS SMILING BABY!! i am so proud of her.... My colleague love her too..... I have so many pictures of her everywhere...

Full Month

We hold a Full Month Celebration for Xinru on 10th March on her Lunar full month. We have buffet and invite friends and relatives to my house. We receive a lot of wishes, red packet and gift from the guest and all the red packet $$ goes into Xinru's POSB account and well all her gifts are of good use.. We receive baby gym, stroller, clothing, braclet and milk bottles set... But Xinru was having baby rashes on her face so she was not in her top condition...

Birth to 1st Month

Xinru stepped onto this beautiful earth on 8th Feb 2006, morning at 2810gram. It is consider on the small side but she is healthy. She was delivered thru C-section as her head was a little slant to a side hence got to use forcep to bring her out and she had the forcep mark on her right cheek but luckily the mark went off after a day. When i see her for the first time, i felt that she was the most beautiful baby tat i ever seen.
She was a little yellow on the 2nd day of life and PD say it was natural but mention that if it went too high, she might have to stay in the hospital to go under light. So once they discover that she was a little yellow, they told me and hubby and immediately bring her under light. I was of course worried that she might not be able to go home with us but i am so glad that we are able to bring her back on the 3rd day.
During the 1 month, she spent her time sleepin and feeding which is what every newborn is doing but when it come to night, once u moved her too much, she wun wan to sleep even if u rock her in her sarong. There was once i even scold her for forbidding me to sleep cause when i wanna go to bed after she fall asleep, somehow she will wake up again. Till now i still felt very gulity because she is just a newborn!! She does not understand anything and she is innocent!! Since then i never scold her again.

My Princess Blog

After watching Xin x2 Mummy on Channel U last nite, i tot it would be great to blog down my baby girl, Xinru's growing process.
