Fun at Anchorvale Swimming Complex

Ever since the opening of Anchorvale Community Centre, have been wanting to bring Xinru over to the pool there for some water fun... But it is always said than to be done... kekekeke Past few days, the weather was very hot... so hubby and me planned to bring Xinru over for a swim...

It was only finalise around 630pm on Sunday that we are going over. Intially, i do not have the intention to go down but i brought along my swim suit just in case. When i broke the news to Xinru, she was the happiest of all.... I changed her and we got ready and left the house...

When we reached there, it was around 7pm, and there are still a lot of people... I was so happy to see the pool cause it just look so fun so end up i changed and went down to play with Xinru... :P There are a few adult's slide and a playground with 2 slides for the kids. Xinru initially was afraid to take the slide but after seeing the children playing, she also want to try and she enjoy it...

We played for about an hour plus and let Xinru bargain her 'after go over there and we will have to leave terms', she happily went for bath. There was a kids toilet and i brought her in there to bath while hubby was bathing in the Gents. After we came out, i passed Xinru to hubby and got the bread and water for Xinru to eat while i went to bath.... After i came out, we went home and reached home at around 930pm and had late dinner....

Afterall, it was a nice and fun time at the pool... Will surely bring Xinru there again... :)

Xinru's posting - My New Pet!!!

Hihi All... This is Xinru!! Let me introduce to all of you my new pet... :)

~~This is my new pet, Xiao Gui Gui~~

Xiao Gui Gui is a female little tortoise... When we first bought her home, she will always hide one side or under the bridge.. As time goes by, her pattern all come out already. I always don't get to see her pattern cause what i heard from Mummy, Xiao Gui Gui's pattern will only come out at night cause when mummy is using her laptop at night, Xiao Gui Gui will be kok kok-ing behind in the tank and that's is why my mummy call Xiao Gui Gui as Ninja Turtle... whahahahahaha

Xiao Gui Gui always like to 'fa zhan' at one side of the tank... And she will start to like want to climb the wall... Faint... the tank is so high.. How will she be able to do that?????

Mummy also tell me that lately Xiao Gui Gui learn to climb up the coconut tree in the tank... another faint... How did she do that?? Mummy also wonder...

Anyway, i did ask for Mummy to let me rear fish but mummy mention things that our house cannot keep fish cause they will die fast.. that's why tell me don't rear... hmmmm...

Although Xiao Gui Gui is my pet, i don't dare to even touch the tortoise untill Mummy tried to ask me to try touching her... Now that i am not afraid to touch her, i even tried to carry her... Mummy was shocked when she saw that cause all along, she knew that i don't dare to do that. But one fine day, i was being scare by Xiao Gui Gui.. I was happily showing ah mah that i dare to catch and Xiao Gui Gui scratch me a little on my finger and i got scared... I nearly brust out crying but mummy tell me its okie... Xiao Gui Gui sayang me... From then, i don't dare to carry her anymore.

Talking about my mummy... Mummy is also scare of torotoise... She told me that since young she is scare and because of what you know... Because of the yellow portion beneath the tortoise that she is probia about... haha my mummy sounds funny hor... :P

Anyway, although Mummy is scare of the tortoise, she make efforts to clean the tank for me and remind me to feed Xiao Gui Gui... Mummy says that since i am the owner and i am the one who want to keep Xiao Gui Gui as my pet, i have to learn the basic which is to ensure the tortoise have things to eat when i am not at home.

I just love my Xiao Gui Gui... Everyday when i leave the house for school.. i will call out to Xiao Gui Gui and tell her that i am going to school and will be back at night... Once in a while when i am at home, i will also go and sit near her tank and talk to her and see what she is doing.... :)

Little Girl is askin for daddy more

Ever since last 1 week plus, my little girl has been asking for daddy whenever i am with her sleeping. Its not that she don't want me... but she also wants to look for daddy... I also don't know why...

Every night while putting her to bed, when she gets a bit drowsy.. she will ask me for daddy in a very ke lian tone... then usually i will just tell her that 'Daddy is outside studying...', 'daddy is watching television programme' and on and off she will still ask a few times..

Tonight, daddy is on night shift. We have told her beforehand that daddy got to work late tonight and just now just before daddy was leaving house, daddy told Xinru again and Xinru bid byebye to Daddy happily and even tell him to 'be careful ya and see u tomorrow' again, when she got drowsy just now, she ask for Daddy again. This time round, i told her that 'Just now Mummy already told you Daddy need to work tonight and you also did tell Daddy that you see him tomorrow rite....' She gave me a pitiful face... and sob a little...

I gave Daddy a sms 'Your darling princess is looking for you... she stare blankly into space and when i ask her, she told me she want you...' Immediately, i got a call from Daddy and hubby spoke to her a while and hang up the call.

In a few minutes, she fell asleep.... Although Xinru is known to a bully to Daddy, but at least now, she will look for hubby as and when... That's what we call - Daddy's Girl... :)

It has been quite some time tat i last blogged. Hmmm not really a lot of things happen.. maybe just blog in what Xinru has been doing lately..

Before that... JUST TO ANNOUNCE!!!

XINRU HAS TURNED 38 MONTHS OLD!!!!

Ever since the last post that i blogged, here's what Xinru been doing...

Her knowledge of ABC increased again... Now she is able to do up the ABC train puzzle that Jes has brought for her last X'mas without me telling her what letters comes after the letter but she need to repeat the ABC to recall what's the next letter... so basically i will just sit beside her and ask her what's the letter next and what the letters stands for....

Next is her puzzle...
She is able to complete a 40pcs with a dimension of 3cm by 3cm per piece within 15mins without me helping her... But as and when i have to remind her that she should 'study' the puzzle before trying an error... :)

Following up is her writing skills..
Xinru has actually picked up some writing skills on her own. She initially take a few remote control to form some letters... and now she is writing them on her own... Although some letters like A, her top will not be together.. L is in the opposite direction.. The 3 lines of E sometimes gets too close to one another... the other is 'R' and 'H'. Till date, i saw her wrote some but these few are those i frequent see her writing...

Colouring
Look at this...I feel that with at 3years old, she can do this, i am actually kind of proud of her... She coloured this at home one evening and after that she turned to the back of the colouring page, she told me "Mummy.. the cat is orange colour leh..." then i told her that its okie... She can play around with the colours... Need not be exactly the same.... What i want to bring it across her is that she is free to explore with colours... :)
Although the cat is of multi-colour but if u notice, she has a pattern on the colour used and the colour are consider quite within the picture.... :)

Hmmm just in case you guys are wondering is it ME, her mummy is stressing her up with all the above... I CAN TELL EVERYONE IN THE WORLD - NO, I DID NOT... haha all this are done upon her request and at her own mood... :)
At times when we were playing with the puzzle and my mom returned, she will comment - Ya la... must be like tat... should teach her all these liao.... i just kept quiet... haha...

Last thing to update...
My silly darling did something silly last nite which i find it so funny... :P

While putting her to bed, she suddenly silence for a short while then she turned to me...

XR: Mummy, i wan didi, mei mei leh....
ME: huh..... *smilin at her* Why you want didi, meimei???
XR: because i like babies lor....
ME: hahaha u ah... silly girl..

after a while, i tell her

ME: baby.. u come and touch mummy's tummy..
Xinru sit up and come near to me, started to put her hand towards my tummy and about 10cm away from my tummy
XR: Mummy... inside got didi....
ME: *broke out into laughter* got meh???
XR: got.....
ME: inside got didi or mei mei
XR: didi lor.... but i wan didi and mei mei leh...
ME: huh.. you wan so many ah.... then you must be a good girl lah... if not later you make me angry then didi, mei mei make me angry how....
XR: i wan mei mei...
ME: ai yeo.. u so ruan leh... just now want didi then want didi and mei mei then now want mei mei... which one you wan???
XR: i wan didi la....
ME: broke into laughter again....

Hmmm oldies always say the young ones are sensitive to such things... When she was about 18months old, she did mention but that time was because she saw her friends in the CC having siblings in the CC so she ask... The next time she mention again was when her theme in CC was on FAMILY... so the kiddo in CC brings photos to CC and tell the kiddo about their siblings... She did not mention for quite some time already. Then one fine day, she suddenly mention again without anything.. She simply just turned and tell me... And now again, she mention and she even like can feel like that.. So let's just wait and see if it's true...
