After bringing Xinru back from cc on Saturday, got her to come back home and change while i bath and shortly we went out to Eunos to attend hubby's colleague wedding.

Although it was held in the Community Centre, the atmosphere looks good and comfortable. The food was nice too.... Xinru had a plate of mee boon followed by some grapes and kuey lapis.... Yummy... hehe Hubby's colleague saw Xinru and commented that she looks cute.. hehe and one of them did not even know that hubby got a child this big... hahaha

After attending the wedding, we bought Xinru to Changi Airport for a short while... We went to take train to Tanah Merah and change to Changi Airport. Before going to airport, i told Xinru again and again that we are going to see aeroplane and not sit aeroplane cause since the day i told her that we are going to Hong Kong, she has been bugging me to go and sit aeroplane.....

When we reached the airport, we just walk around and went to the viewing mall and when back home. It was a short one cause when we reached there, it was already 6pm..

Before we left, we went to the waterfall area which is Xinru favourite place and took our family photo there... :)

I happen to see the indoor playground behind the waterfall area and brought Xinru over to play for a while... Actually is to distract her from the waterfall area... hehe

We left the airport close to 7pm and Xinru fell asleep in the bus and when we got home, she become awake again and continue to play her toys but later after her bath and milk, she fell asleep around her normal sleeping time... :)

Upgrading of Xinru fish tank

This morning went to walk at the fish shop again... and decided to upgrade the fish tank to a better one... hehe...

This morning when i bought Xinru to the childcare, i told her that i will be going back to office on Friday and that daddy will have to bring Xinru to school in the morning and hubby and me will bring her back together. The next thing she told me is 'Don't want.. Xinru don't want Mummy go back work...' After i talk to her, she kept quiet and sulk along the way to the childcare.. I saw her sulking face and ask her what happen? She kept quite and when i ask her 'Xinru not happy because Mummy is going back to work?' then she nod her head.... and hubby took a look at me.... :)

After bringing her to the childcare, hubby and me went for breakfast and i was like telling hubby about what i told my colleague about my 'early retirement' plan... haha Then i told hubby that i told my superior about the plan and i told them if after Xinru goes to Primary School, i will want to do part time and if the company allows, i hope to do part time here. Then i tell hubby that i can work till 12noon then come back home and prepare lunch and lunch with Xinru then following can take care of her at home. Then hubby say 'How can let her go home herself?' then i tell him 'the school is downstairs only mah... and anyway, i don't think with my spending, i can afford to stay at home... and i don't want to add on to your expenses...' hehe and hubby kept quiet... haha

After the breakfast, i went to buy the stuff for praying stuff and later i went to see fish again... hehe Xinru has been telling me on and off that she want to have fish... Past 2 times, the fish did not make it so we change to buy tortoise instead.... and today i went to see the fish again and i bought another set of fish for her... hehe This time round, i bought a air pump as well and hope the fish can survive..... :)

Xinru has fallen sick

Xinru has been officially declare sick last weekend. The previous week before i was sick, she has slight cold and cough but after a few days she recovered and i became the one heavily sick...

When i was on way to recovery, Xinru started her running nose and cough. It got worse on Thursday night and the next day she seems ok and i bought her to the childcare centre but though of bringing her earlier home cause the whole night i did not sleep due to Xinru's whinning....

After i reached home shortly, her teacher call and inform me that she is having a temperature and i asked her to gave her paracetamol and keep me inform. After an hour, her teacher called and tell me that her fever has gone. Around 1plus in the afternoon, after i dozed off 15mins later, her teacher called again and tell me that Xinru has vomited twice. Got no choice but to wake up and go and bring her back.

When i reached her cc, she was sleeping and her teacher wake her up and tell her i am there to pick her and the first thing she tell me was 'Mummy, Xinru vomit..' and i bought her home.... She was active when she was at home... but she kept havin mood swing.... A little bit only she whine and whine and cry... faint....

The night itselt, again i did not sleep the whole night.... Saturday came and i decided not to bring her to the school and got the part time cleaner to come on Monday instead. She was actively ok thru the day and when night comes, her fever came up again.... And i decided to bring her to see doctor on Sunday.... That's where i declare her 'sick'...

Sunday morning after i woke up, we got ready and bring her to Compass Point to see the doctor. When it was our turn, we went in and i ask Xinru whether she want to tell the doctor herself what happen to her.... She was cute...

Xinru: Doc..... my tummy pain pain after drink milk milk...

Doc: oh... where pain pain?

Xinru: *point to her tummy*

Mummy: any more things you want to tell doc?

Xinru: Doc... Xinru sick.......

*at this point of time, the doctor was laughing*

After telling what Xinru is facing, we were prescribe with 6 bottle of medication.... haha.... First time seeing Xinru got to take so many medications.... Xinru was gaven Brufen for high fever, Paracetamol for fever below 38.5 degree, running nose medication, medicine for clearing phlgem, coughing syrup and medicine for stomach wind.

I really got a hard time taking care of Xinru nowadays when she is not well.... Previously when she was coughing, i will apply vaporub for her on her feet and wear sock over her feet.... But now when i wear the sock for her, the next thing she do is... she will remove her sock eventhough she is sleeping.... faint.... the next hard thing to do is taking temperature... She will tell u 'no-no' when you asked her to take temperature....

Xinru is a good helper..

As Xinru gets older, the things she helped at home gets more and more... From a start at 25 months, she helps me to put her dirty clothing into the laundry basket after she came home and putting them into the washing machine, and till now, she does her hanging of her school uniform and folding of her panty and some shorts and tops, keeping her own clothing into the drawers and last night she even folded her daddy's underwear... haha but she sees her mood in helping me though... :)
Whenever she sees me bringing the clothings that i bought down from the bamboo stick, she will follow me to the room and tell me that she wants to help me.... I will normally pass her those small small items... So far she has been doing pretty well... Cheers Xinru!!! :)
