Xinru has been quite a good helper at home at times... Nowadays i will ask her to help to clear her dirty clothing from the Infant Care Centre and put them in the laundry basket. At times i will ask her to help to put them in the washing machine to wash them and she has been doing it willingly and doing them fine....

Toilet training: Nowadays in school, she only wear 2 diaper a day. One for sleeping and the other in the early part of the day so nowadays she came home without diaper and will be off it till her bath time around 830-845pm. Afterwhich i will put her on diaper and till she sleep, but normally her diaper will be dry before she sleep cause she will tell me that she wants to pee and i will bring her to the toilet. Hopefully before she turned 26 months old which is 8 April, she can be totally off diaper.

There was one night when i picked her at the Infant Care Centre, i asked the teacher how many hours of interval was she asked to go to the toilet cause i see that the teacher will remind the kids to go to toilet at certain interval. When i asked her, she told me that 'For Xinru, we don't ask, cause she is smart enough to tell us that she wants to go to the toilet so we do not restrict her any time interval.' Hmm i was kind of glad that i am hearing good comments on her though.. hehe... Well, which mom is not glad when hears good comment on their child ya... hehe

Language: She has been talking very fluent for both languages and i am glad that it was also one of the comment that has been given by her teachers. They mentioned that she spoke clear and is understandable. Last night, i met one of her ex teacher from the Centre. She asked me whether is she able to talk already? And i told her that 'she can spoke pretty well bah' then when Xinru asked me 'who is that' and points to her ex teacher, the teacher immediately says that 'she can speak very well... and very clear....' then she also comment that she is getting prettier... haha.... well... need to say??? :P

Last night when i picked her up from the Centre, then Xinru asked me 'Where we going?' then i told her that 'we are going home' and she replied 'going home ah?' then i think i comment to her teacher that she a lot of questions one... Then her teacher immediately say 'she a lot of questions also in school...' then i suddenly remembered that my mom did asked me whether did i ever asked the teachers whether does she has so much question in school. So last night, before i asked, her teacher told me already... So needless to ask already. Her teachers even say that 'she got a lot of questions in school one, she will ask why that boy like that, what that person is doing and etc...' Her teacher even say that sometimes she will keep asking the same thing again and again and i have to tell her 'Xinru, shhh... don't ask already' *faint* the teacher continued and say 'but i heard that kids who ask a lot of question tends to be more smart' haha... i was like smiling and saying 'is it' but inside me i tell myself 'it's kind of irritating at times' haha..... The last comment that she give was 'Her language is very strong as she can talk very well and very clear' after that we left the centre.

Some funny things abt Xinru on 4 Mar 2008

Maybe i should try to blog in as and Xinru did some things funny... hehe

Last night, a few funny things happen.. hehe

1. I was sittin on the floor while she is walkin around the house... then suddenly, she went to the coffee table, started takin the papers on the table and tell me 'mummy... u see... daddy lor... mei you keep bao zhi then go onn onn liao....' then i ask her what happen? then she tell me again 'daddy mei you keep bao zhi lor...' then she started putting the papers down on the shelf below the table..

2. Hubby and me were having dinner then previously i bought her a Barney book that tells her how a day was being spent by Barney.. From morning wake up till night time.. There was a section where Barney says have to push in the stool after meal. And i did told her tat we have to do tat after meal also.. so when hubby left the table after meal, Xinru tell me 'see mummy... daddy no push in chair...' i was like laughin and laughin then i tell her to go and tell daddy.. then she ran to her daddy and tell him 'daddy, ni mei you push in chair' then she hold her daddy hand's to the living room then she pushed in the chair in front of her... hehe

3. She was walkin around the house, then suddenly put her hand on her forehead and walk to me and tell me 'Mummy... xinru sick...' then i touch her and tell her 'no ah.. Xinru is healthy ah...' and she tell me 'hot hot leh...' then i told her that 'u are so sweaty..tat's why hot...' then she walk to my mom and do the same thing and my mom ask her what happen and she tell my mom that 'xinru sick...' my mom can't help laughin out loud...

4. last nite when I bring her back from school, then while waitin for lift, there are a few ppl there also.. then she tell me ‘mummy, cannot press lift’ then I tell her ‘ya la… u so kaypoh leh..’ .. then when waitin for the lift, she go and point ppl and say you kaypoh… the ppl there was like laughin.. then so happen my neighbour was there… then he say ‘wow… u know kaypoh ah…’ then I tell her u no call uncle? Then she lie on my shoulder and tell me ‘ah nei nei’ *faint
