23 months old Xinru

My Little Girl at home is getting more and more adorable as she gets more vocal... hehe...Xinru has turned 23 months old on 8th January and in just a few weeks time, she gonna turn 2 years old...
Sometimes she will just surprise you with the words that she know... Her teachers mention to me that she has high ability in understanding comparing to the other kids in the school. She has been able to express herself very well even before she turned 22 months old....

Lately i realised that her vocal is getting strongly and strongly especially now when she is tryin to understand the words that we talk to her and using it herself while talking to us...

Some updates on Xinru

She has been talking like a kid... not a toddler.... hehe... And her vocal is comparable to my 3 year old niece in the sense that Xinru can speak clearer than her. She not only can speak in English but also in Chinese...

Some of the replies that she give us when we asked her things

1. Are you tired??

She will reply you ' 没有tired' when she is not or tired when she is.

2. What would you want for dinner?

At times she will say porridge and sometimes she will tell me i don't know..

3. When she does not want her porridge anymore, she will say '我不要 porridge liao..'

4. When she wants something from me, she will say '我要这个 leh' or 'I want 这个 leh'

5. When you ask her where you want to go, she will tell you 'i want go gai gai' or 'shopping'

When i called out to her when she is not in the same room as me, she will replied with 'yes' then when i ask her what is she doing, she will tell me in chinese '我在做这个lor...' then if she is able to show you what she is doing, she will take and show it to you... I remember there was once when she was reading a book in the living room while i am in the kitchen preparing her meal and she become so quiet at the hall so i called for her and she tell me '我在read book咯'.. although there is a mixture of English and Chinese and even Singlish, at least she makes me understand what she is talking about...

Lately she loved watching 'The Wheels on THe Bus' that cast the Argon *a green dragon' who is a bus driver... With 2,3 times of watching the programme, she knows how to sing certain portion of the song, know what sound does the items produce and even remember most of what's coming up next in the programme... What she sees in the programme, when she saw it in the actual life, she is able to relate the same thing...
There is one part that shows the animals in the aquariam and i just asked her 'girl, what is tat??' she can tell me without thinking 'Jellyfish' then she will tell me she wants it then when she saw the Sea Horse, she tell me 'i don't want this one...' and when i ask her why? she tell me 'so ugly one...' haha tat makes me laugh like dunno what... i din expect to hear that from her mouth.. hehe Certain things that she does not like to eat, she will tell me 'not nice...我不要'

She is such a dearie to me... When i picked her up from school, when she see us, she will be in excitement and when she sees only either me or hb picking her up, she will ask where is either one of us.... Then normally when i pick her, i will ask her to call me.. then she will call in a very sweet way 'mummy....' then i will tell her to hug me.. then she will put her arms around my neck and hug me sweetly.... hehe.... at times when i am with her to put her to sleep, she will just turn and call me 'mummy....' and give me those silly laughter... hehe....

She has been behaving quite well lately also... She has grown up already.. Certain things when you tell her, she will listen... and gladly obey it... She does not like to be carry when outside now... even when it's near crossing the road... so at first i tell her that when you reached the point where u need to cross the road, mummy or daddy got to carry... so she obey it for the first few times... when we are near to the road only, she will ask to be carried... Then after sometimes she wanna run herself so i told her that 'when crossing the road, mummy must hold you little hand' first 2 times, i really need to grab her hand.. but after tat, when we are near to the road, i just need to ask her 'what did mummy say when we are crossing the road?' then she will automatically gve me her little hand... then 1/2 way the road when she tries to get her hands off mine, i will hold it tight and tell her 'it's not the end of the road yet... mummy can only let go when we reach the staircase or whichever point' then now she understand that after a few times... and when she tries to let her hand off mine, she will tell me 'haven reach' haha....

Of course there are times when she is notti and like to 发小姐脾气...and sometimes she will keep fuss for long... but most of the time, she is still controllable...

Our First Genting Trip - Day 1

Finally decision was made for our Genting Trip... hehe... On 7 December, i went to book for the trip and paid the tour fees. It cost $228 per person and we are travelling with my mom and sis...
On 26 December, my alarm went off at 430am and as usual whenever we are travelling, i need to wake up 1 hour earlier then Xinru cause i need to bath and make the last minute packing. After i bath, i started packing those stuff and when i am almost done, i woke Xinru up.... It seems like she does not want to get up cause it is still very early.. haha but no choice as we have to leave the house at 530am.

When i woke her up, she was still sleeping then when i tell her 'girl, time to get up... we are going to take big bus......' immediately she open her eyes big and say 'i wan big bus..' cause the previous day i told her that we are going to take big bus to a cold cold place... haha...

My brother reached my place at 530am and we finally got ready at 545am.. haha and we quickly dashed down to his car and left for Golden Mile...

We reached there around 615am, half an hour before the departure time cause we need to collect our documents half an hour before the time the coach is living... After collectiong the documents, we got our coach number and was told that we can board the coach already... so we went ahead to the coach.

The coach was real big.. bigger than the coach that we normally sit... and well of course Xinru was excited...

Finally, we reached Yong Peng for a 30mins break... We had some light food and i went to buy some DVD and board the coach again to continue the journey...

Finally, we reached Genting at 2+ in the afternoon and the temperature there at that time was around 18 degree celcius..

I went to do the check-in of the hotel rooms and went to the room but as the room are not being tidied yet so we left our luggages there and went for our lunch.
