Daddy's 50th Birthday

23 September 2007 is daddy which is Xinru's Ah Gong's 50th Birthday. We brought him together with 2 aunties to the restaurant at YCK Grassroot Club which i hold my wedding in 2005.

There was a slight communication breakdown so dad went to the other restuarant at AMK Ave 3 instead... Nevertheless, we still have our dinner at around 8pm.

While waiting for brother at home, Xinru was getting a bit impatient and keep feeling so sian and asking me 'where is ah ku?' and i have to keep repeating myself that he is on the way... Till i got my brother's call and Xinru was so happy and excited and shouted 'Qu gai gai lor....' haha.... and jumping in joy and biding my mom bye bye... :)

We were the first to reach followed by sis and Isaac and the 2 aunties then dad came...

Chinese Garden

We brought Xinru to Chinese Garden on 22 Sept for the Lantern Festival lightings. We left home around 7plus in the evening and took a cab down from our house. The traffice was so packed till we spend about 24 bucks just on cab. When we reached there around 9pm, we saw there are still large crowd...

This year's theme is on Sea Creatures and well why specially bring Xinru down?? It's because she loves fish..... So you can see that the pictures below, you will see that Xinru are always being distracted and not seeing the camera...

Yesterday when i went to pick Xinru at the Infant Care centre, her teacher told me that there is a container inside the bag... She made cookies today... then i saw Chloe taking the container that contains the cookies. When i heard that, i ask Xinru 'Wow... u made cookies today ah....' then she just stare at me....

She does not want to sit in the stroller so when we left the centre, she was holding my hand and walking. She kept asking me to go towards the direction of Koufu and tell me 'There... there... mum mum...' then i tell her that i am going to cook at home.. then managed to hold her back to the road towards home..

As she was holding the container then at times she will put the container under the armpit then change back the original holding way...

Normally there will be a lady with her Baby girl, Sarah at the playground then last nite when Xinru saw her, she kept showing her the container of cookies then i told the lady that she made cookies in school today... and she started telling me that she wants to put her girl at the end of the year and asked me about the centre then i told her some of my views and feedback some of the stuff there and we went back home.

When we reached home, my mom was at home and i faster went to cook for her. Then as usual... some fuss then she had her dinner and shortly i bathe her...

I realise lately bathing her is like going to war... She will keep asking for those cannot things.. like last nite, i was brushing her teeth and my mom told me to teach her to split out the water after the brush so i ask her to do it lor.. and guess what, she kept wanting to do it in the basin... So fines, after a while, i told her it's time to bath, brougth her to the bath area and she keep insisiting to go to the basin there to split the water again and she will purposly keep making her saliva out so that there is something to split. So i told her that she can do it even at the bath area but her stubborness make me so fed up... I had a hard time bathing her again....

Finally finish the bath and grab her to the bed to dress her... and another war.... and i got so angry as she kept screaming and makin noise and i told her to quiet down and she refuse so i told her that if she is not going to stop, i am going to put some oil into her mouth... This time round she was real stubborn.... so instead of saying, i really put some oil onto my finger and put it on her tongue and she kept making the tongue cause the smell is there....

Finally my mom came and she helped to dress her while she is still making noise.... My mom brought her out of the room while i cleared up the things and when i am going to bring her to bed, hubby came back home. When she saw hubby in the computer room, she insisted him to on his computer to show her the Elmo and Barney. So i let her be lor.. and hb finally managed to get her out of the room and to the bedroom.

I on Elmo for her to watch and finally after a while, she fell asleep.... Phew....

AMK Hub Baby Fair

Last Friday got my fren's sms telling me that in the Baby Fair at AMK Hub, Xinru's photo was one of the Baby's photo of those being displayed there. It was being displayed by Cover Looks.

Remember she went for the Cover Looks makeover for BayB Supplies like last year October and was picked as the Cover Look Winner of December 2006. So that was the pic being displayed there... hehe Xinru actually become one of their model...

After knowing the news, Sunday we brought Xinru down to AMK Hub and after eating, we went to take a look.

A busy Saturday..

Last Saturday was kind of a busy one... Cause there are 2 happy event that we are attending...

My initial plan was to after fetching Xinru back from Infant care, get her ready and leave home at about 430pm to Lena's house to attend Darling Aloysious 1st Birthday with Ivy. But things din turned out to what i tot... When i picked her up, her teacher told me that she just slept.. so that means she only sleep for 1/2 an hour. So no choice, carry her up and she was awake so tot of bringing her home then give her some milk and let her continue her sleep.. Who knows when she reach home, she become a dragon... *faint* if she is not going to nap now, tonight her eyes will be red and sure she will make noise... So no choice, have to push the timing to leave house later... Struggling to put her to bed for abt 2 hours... sceams, cry and wrestling... haizzz Keep telling me to 'qu gai gai le' then i told 'no nap no gai gai' Finally managed to put her to sleep near to 5pm and so tot when she wake up, can let her have her porridge and go to Lena's house.

Asked bro to send me, Xinru and Ivy up to Lena's house then shortly less then 1/2 an hour, we left the place to Joey's baby full month...

After we left, we went back to Hougang to pick Sis up and went to Tampines... There wasn't a lot of people but a lot of food left... We though we were the last already but hehe we are not....

As usual lor, Xinru is clingy to us but after a while she is okie already... I carried her to see Baby Ryan and she goes 'Ryan Ryan...' haha when i told her in the afternoon that 'Tonight mummy bring u go and see Baby Ryan...' then she goes "Ryan...' followed by a roar... then i told her 'Not Lion... is Ryan..' and she laughed....

Then i gave biscuit to Xinru and her cousin Siying who is about 3 weeks older than her and took some pictures of them... the 2 of them were so cute... sitting together to eat biscuit and when asked them to take pictures, i got Xinru to shift nearer to Siying and sheuse her buttock to move herself beside her... then ask her to smile, she again give the cheeky smile....

Yongwei and Weiqin's Wedding

Xinru and me went to Yongwei and Weiqin's wedding at The Pan Pacific Hotel on Thursday, 13 Sept 2007. Hubby did not go along as he has got lesson on that day so only me and Xinru tagging with Bro, mum and sis.

On Tuesday, i told the teachers to bath her so when i fetch her home, i can just changed her and go out already but when i reached there, they told me haven bathe her so i got to rush home to bathe her... end up we left home around 730pm instead of 7pm... haizzz

When we reached there, the crowd was still okie... still not much of people.. but haizz the whole dinner most of the time i am entertaining Xinru... Lucky at times got my sis, bro and mom to help look after her...

1st time bring back her work

Ever since Xinru was promoted to Toddler Group, she have to start to learn some handicraft and colourings in the Centre. Monday was the first time we collected her works in the Centre as normally end of every term, they will passed all their works back to us...

Hmmm her work consider not bad la... at least for a toddler who just turned 19months. What can i expect from her ya... and the most important thing is, at her current stage, i think play and enjoying her childhood is more important that any other things...

Tis is the flower that she did on Teacher's Day, of course with the help of her teachers....

She also has to attend Chinese Language Lesson.. here's some of her work. On one of the work, her teacher commented that she knows how to listen instructions to do her colouring... :)
