A Gathering at Violet's place

We had another gathering at Violet's place last sunday afternoon. It was quite a big group with of course the host, Violet and hubby, Kai and Xuan, Jesline and hubby with Jarren, Siewlay and hubby with Yu Jie, Yvonne and hubby with Nicholas, Nicole and their maid, Mee Ping and Ryan, Valerie and Giselle and of course me and Xinru.

We arrived the latest cause Xinru was takin her nap and end up she still lack of 1 hr sleep. hehe but she still not so cranky but like what Violet's hubby say, Xinru must be 100m around me.. haha

We had a great time, chatting watching the baby play and of course good food thanks to Violet and her maid. The cheese cake that Violet made is fantasic... it just tasted so nice.... how i wish i can have more... hehe.....

1. Identifying the things in the book.
I was kind of surprise when she is able to find the things that we tell her... even not in running order, she is able to flip and find for you...

Father's Day

Last Sunday, 17 June was Father's Day. I did a Ezlink Card for hubby on behalf of Xinru and bought a card for him to go with it.

I asked Xinru to hand carry the card to hubby and he tot it was just a normal empty envelop then when he saw the cover, he ask 'Who is this for??' then i ask him cheekily 'How many daddy Xinru have??' as i wrote outside the card "Specially for Xinru's Daddy'..

When he opened the card, he read what i have wrote to him and he just smile.... Can see that he is happy... :)

I dressed Xinru in a t-shirt that reads "Dad's busy little bee" cause it's Father's Day mah... so put on something that has the word 'Daddy' for her... haha... then let her wore a hotpant with the word "Sweetheart" and she look really cute on it...

Gathering at May's house

We had a gathering at May's place on 27th May. It was a nice gathering. We have so much fun there....


Mummies involved were Bulma (Jeslin) and baby Jarren, Sunshinekid (LaiYee) and Baby Annika, BBger (Jaslyn) and Baby Shayna, Ivory (Kelly) and Baby ZiJie, Violet (Cynthia) and Baby Fengkai and of course the host, Ah May (May) and Baby Sam and Ray.


Xinru and i took a bus over to Violet's place and she long pang us to May's house. First time taking bus alone with Xinru. Lucky it was without pram if not i will be panting like dunno what. And lucky that Xinru did not misbehave on the bus...

Pre-Mother's Day Celebration

We brought my mom out for a pre Mother's Day lunch at Hougang Mall, Soup Restaurant.

I dress Xinru in a blue Polo shirt with a denim short while me and hubby wore the same FILA blue Polo Tee and with different length of jeans.

Xinru look handsome though.. hehe We took a cab from our house to Hougang Mall and on the cabby, the driver ask if she was our first kid and tell us to have another baby girl. I straight away reply the uncle that she is a girl already... hehe i dun feel offended cause she really look like a boy.

Meh Meh Tou

Tis was quite trendy in the forum but i was lazy to try it on Xinru and on myself...

So during one of the Sunday morning was kind of boring so tot of folding it and puttin it on for Xinru and she really love it though. She wore it and walked around the house and when i ask her to show it to her daddy, she happily run out and showed it to daddy. And when i put it on for her, she pointed to the mirror cabinet, asking me open cause she want to see herself in the mirror and when she see herself, she kept smiling....

My brother went on a training at Australia and got this cute little kangaroo hairband for Xinru... She wore and let me take pics....

Playing baby doll

My mom bought a Baby doll for Xinru. It comes with a diaper bag consist of milk bottle, pacificer, diaper, drinking bottle, baby wipe and utensils. She enjoyed playing with it. She will feed her milk and carry her around the house. Initially when she carried the baby, she will carried it in a very rough manner…But after some teaching, she become more gentle and carry it like a real baby… Some time she will even pat the back side of the baby..

There was once her teacher told me that she love the little baby in the infant care. When the teacher carry the younger babies, she will want to sayang them. There is a little baby girl by the name of Sarah whose sister is already in the toddler group. When the teacher carried Sarah, Xinru will move to the teacher and tell her ‘pao pao’ meaning want to carry the baby.

Haha hearing this kind of things from the teacher make me no need to worry when I have the second child. Hehe by then Xinru will have turned 3 years old and I believe she will be a great help to me….

Cooking Set

My mom bought a big set of cooking toy for Xinru cause she has seen her playin with the bowl, going around the house feeding us and happen that we saw one quite a nice set so she decided to buy it for her as it was quite cheap also... :)

The stove is battery operated one so when you turn on the stove, there is sound when you place the wok or pot on the stove. But she do not know how to on the switch so whenever she wants to on the stove, she will make those pitiful face and sound and ask us to on it for her.

She will cook like a real chef and once when i tell her i wan to have fish soup, she showed me the 'wait' action and put the fish inside the pot... Her action are so cute.... :)

Xinru is drinkin from straw

Few weeks ago realise Xinru have learnt a new skill which is drinkin from straw. I actually tried to let her try to drink from straw when some of my fren's kiddies have started using the straw but she like to bite the straw so end up break a few months..

That day when i took the mag mag out and try on her, she actualli drink it without choking... haha... since that day we dun use the small bottle for her to drink water already....
