Clip at the Library

Today went to Compass Point with hubby and Xin Ru and we let her come down and walk herself... After walking a distance, hubby say let her sit on the stroller but Xin Ru don't wan and we let her walk lor... hehe
While waiting for hubby to see some books at the library, i bring Xinru over to the Children corner where she can enjoy taking the books...

Fall...

The nite before yesterday, Xinru got 2 fall... One at the back of her head, cause she walk backwards and the other on her face cause she so excited walkin to the table...
Yesterday evenin met hubby to fetch Xinru from Infant care, heard hubby say that she got a fall in the morning... I asked why din tell me and he say dun wanna make me worried... Gosh.. i am so worried and walk in a faster pace to the centre.... when i saw her, she was happily playin with the teachers then i feel better....
When i reached there, Xinru got so excited seein us... and she make those high pitch happy sound and when i ask her 'baby,what happen to you??' she point to her eyebrow where the bruise is... and tell me 'teh teh teh'... although not very obvious, but can see there is a bun if u look at her from the side.... HEartpain.... heartpain.... then when i try to rub it softly for her, she cry.... i know it's painful....
Tis morning when i wake up, and i ask her where pain?? she din point already and when i touch it, she din cry so i guess it's not tat painful already... Just now when i went to pick her, the eyebrow there was like abit blueblack... haiz....

Hmmm how should i start this posting... hmmm just type out what happen la.. hehe

About her shoe:
Her teacher told us to let her wear shoe to the Infant care since she can walk stable liao as they will bring them outside to walk around to exercise their legs. So since Tuesday we let her wear shoe to the Infant care. Tuesday nite when i pick her up, i forgotten about her shoe and when i step out of the void deck then i call hubby and ask if he did wear the shoe for her... Hubby say yes.. so we went back to the infant care to pick up....
On Thursday nite, when i went to picked her, when she sat on her stroller, she suddenly pointed to the shoe rack. I was surprise cause she is actualli like reminding me to take her shoe... She is smart rite... Well... more to come.. hehe
Last nite when hubby and me went to pick Xinru from the Infant Care, we asked her to go and take her shoe herself, we know that she only know her shoe is there but there were so many pigeon hole for the toddler so how would she know which one was hers.... We let her walk to the shoe rack herself... we tot she will just take anyone of the shoe cause there were like 7-8 pairs of shoes there.... Guess what... her hands went straight to the pigeon hole that has her shoe.... She did not touch other people's shoe or pigeon hole but touch only her own.... Hubby and me, including her teacher was surprised to see tat..... Isn't she smart.... *Not tat i praise my own gal.. but she is really smart... * :P

Playground:
Nowadays since she know how to walk quite stable, normally weekends, we will bring her down to the playground.... I remember the first time we bring her to the playground, she enjoyed and when the time come to go home, she will make a fuss till we reached home.... But after that i will tell her that if she will to be like tat, then there wun be a next time. We tried the next day and she actualli let us bring her home.. but can see from her face tat she still want to play...
Last Monday when we are on our way home, we pass by the playground and when Xinru saw the playground, she got so excited and kept pointin to the playground and rock her stroller... But when we passed by without going to the playground, she make a fuss till we reached home. Again, i explain and tell her that we can only go if you did not go to Infant care that day, if you behave in this way, we will not bring you to the playground at all...
The next day, when we passed by the playground, she gets excited and rock her stroller again but tis time round, she did not make a fuss and just see and point to us the playground. Then when i tell her 'girl good girl hor... we go when you no need to go to athe Infant care ok.' and she nodded her head... From that day onwards, she did not make a fuss when we bypass the playground already.

I am so glad that she is sensible so by the time when i have my second child, it will be easier for mre and hubby.... :)

Xin Fu Yin Cha

We went to Xin Fu Yin Cha last saturday with Mummy, Bro, Sis and Isaac and our family... After which we went to the temple to pray cause before i give birth to Xin Ru, we went to pray the 'Zu Sheng niang niang' so we bought her to pray. And at the same time i need to pray the 'Tai Shui'. After the praying, actualli suppose to bring Xin Ru to cut her hair but end up din go cause of the timing... hehe

Walkin more and more stable

Past 2 days, realise that she is walking a lot... She can just leave her exesaucer and walk towards me...
Today i discover that she can stand from a squating position... Smart gal.. and she is more daring in walkin now, on and off, she will just let go and walk even without us encouraging her... Brave girl....

Playtime..

The previous posting, i mention that i had a terrible week. After telling my friends what happen to Xin Ru, a lot of them told me that i am consider lucky cause from day 1 of her life, she has never give me a lot of problems... And that she did not suddenly become naughty, it could be that she is teething and that she has grown up but still unable to voice out what she wan...
So last nite, instead of puttin her to bed at her normal timing around 8pm, i let her do what she wants, let her play with her toys, walk around the house... and end up, she only slept at 1030pm which follow by my dinner and all the things that i need to do... It's kind of like the hours that she is awake, i could not do anything cause i need to walk around the house.

This afternoon...

Tis afternoon was kind of unhappy because of what Xin Ru has behave... really very hectic day... haizzz
When tryin to put her for her afternoon nap, she refused to sleep and keep makin those noise... so i tell her 'u wanna go for ah nei nei to bring you home?? wan mummy call, mummy dun wan u already... so notti...' Guess what she did... i tink u will never think of what she did... i mean for her age now la....
She make those fake laughter... tryin to make me laugh, then slowly crawl to me, kiss me and hug me..... when she did tat, tell u.. i melted.... but i din straight away sayang her la... i told her she should not behave in this way... haizz sometimes say her liao i also feel terrible but sometimes i really cannot stand her... :P

1st visit to the playground

Initially today suppose to bring XinRu with some of my forum frens n their bb to the Animal Resort near to my place... but yesterday Xin Ru had caught slight fever so had no choice but to cancel my share...
When she woke up today, she was ok already..I tink is due to teething... cause she has been cranky the whole day... OMG... din have chance to rest today..so tired....
Kept crying and makin noise and dun wanna sleep... Slept for abt 45mins then wake up and cry again... not her usual self... sian... hope she gets better tomolo...
So end up today around evening after her dinner, we brought her to the playground downstairs. When we wanna go back that time, she kept wanting to go and play but i told her that 'if u gonna continue to be notti, there wun be a second time to the playground..' and she jollywell be good already... Lucky she is scare of me, if not i will not have any good time... hehe

New Words tis week

Tis week, Xin Ru has learned another 2 words... hehe...

1. Shoe in chinese...
Last Thursday hubby was carryin her and she just point to her soft shoes that was on top of ter cabinet and say very loudly... I was so surprise... hehe...

2. Bear...
Tis afternoon, hubby got my card thru letterbox... And when he place it beside him at the sofa, she point to the card and look at my hubby and say 'bear....' hehe then i tell my hubby 'She is tellin u Bear...' :)

It's not boastin.. she is real smart..

When it comes to understanding what we are saying, i tink she is great... She can really understand what we tell her, remembers what we taught her... And most importantly, i feel tat she is very clever....
She is now able to speak certain words like 'take' and 'sit' in both english and chinese, 'mai' mean dun wan in Hokkien, shoe in chinese, papa, mama, ah mah, dog dog, duck duck, mao mao, 'ting' means listen in chinese and fish (but not very accurate)..
For expressing, she knows how to point at things tat we have taught her, nod her head, shake her head and when she see her pic, she will point and nod her head..
Listening skills... when u ask her to sit or lie down at a place to wait for u, she will listen and really guai guai do tat. ask her something, she will be very responsive to our questions. when u tell her go gai gai, she will point to her shoe at her shoe rack and when u pass her the shoe, she will attempt to wear herself...
Actions: when u tell her it's bathing time, she will pull her top, normally after i take out her hand off the sleeve, she will pull the top of of her neck herself... she waves bye bye, french kiss... i have a elmo storybook, when she saw tat book, she will go and take and sit on my lap and keep noddin her head to ask me read to her... there are some sentence tat i teach her the action
i taught her the action 'so big' and when i ask her 'how big is baby Elmo?' and she will show me 'so big'
when i read 'Baby Elmo take a bite' and i teach her to make the action and sound 'ummph' and when i read tat sentence, she will do the sound effect...
And when i read: Baby Elmo says ma ma ma, Baby Elmo says da da da.. she will repeat after me....
For memory: tat day when we were at Malaysia airport, departing to Penang, we show her the fishes wall paper at the top of the ceiling, 5 days later when we return, when we reach the same place, she point to the ceilin and look at us to look up....whatever tat we have taught her she never forgets... hehe

So i guess she is quite smart... hehe... it's not a boasting but some developments tat i am and should be proud with... My colleagues also comment that she is very smart which i never deny.... hehe...

Eatin her baby food..

i love seein her eatin her baby food... cause her action's real cute and i simply love her every little movement... When you ask her if it's nice.. she will nod her head and when she finish what you have given her, she wun ask for more.... Good gal ya....

Xin Ru's Playtime..

My dad bought tis car from PlaySkool last year.. but at tat time she is still not very stable... so din managed to let her play till she learns how to cruise around the house... And now she has become more stable and she is even able to move around but... goin backwards... hehe *u will be able to hear my voice cause am tryin to video her callin me... but she is not co-operating with me... sob sob*

Nowadays she cannot sit or stand still... even those movable seat, she is able to climb up and down herself... so worried tat one of these day she might hurt herself...


This boat was bought at Toys 'R' Us like last year also on a day out with my hubby for a movie at Vivo City... Initially she still dun quite like to stay inside.. now she is able to climb in and out of it herself... Sometimes when we try to throw the ball into the hole, she will imitiate us... hehe


For her 1st birthday, i bought her this musical chair from Fisher Price... I find it very fun so tot of buyin it to let her play... She has learned to climb up and initially dunno how to sit properly to now, she is able to sit properly and shake her leg... hehe
