LNY Trip from 14th to 18th Feb-Part 2

Continuation of the trip...

3rd Day - 16th Feb
We were awaken by XinRu's blabber in the morning and when i woke up, i saw tis...

She looked so cute and when i ask hubby to see, we both laugh and Xin Ru laugh with us also... hehe so cute.....

After washin up, as usual, we went down for breakfast... We bought a swimwear for her the day before and so i persuade hubby to bring her down to play water for a while... Hubby initially say no cause the water felt bit cold.. but eventually he give in... *Thanks hubby*

When we left the pool, XinRu was makin a fuss that she have not have enough of playin water but no choice we have to go back to the room le.... She make a lot of noise on the way up cause she simple just wan to go back to the pool but no means no..when i bath her, she become better.. after the bath, she took her nap...
When she woke up, we went to the Shoppin Mall, Island Plaza which is abt 15mins travellin distance away from the hotel.. I prefer the shoppin mall then the 1st one cause this one is much colder and have more things to see....After walkin for some time, we went for a coffee break at The Coffee Bean.. Then proceed to Cold Storage. The Cold Storage was big... and nice to shop also.... Hubby mention the next trip we need not bring a lot of things and can go to the Cold Storage to buy... hehe

After the coffee session and Cold Storage, we went back to the Hotel. XinRu dun seems tired so we let her cruise around the hotel while hubby went to do his studies...

4th Day - 17th Feb ~ Chinese New Year Eve
Hmmm now then realise we did not take pics at all on the 4th day... hehe
We have the same morning routine. After XinRu wake up from her nap, we went over to my MIL's house... Spending a few hours there, when the time comes for XinRu to take her second nap of the day, we went back to the hotel...i tink both me and hubby were very tired liao so we fall asleep and guess what time we woke up?? 830pm!!! Oh My God.. new year eve and here we are sleepin... when we realise the time, we woke up and rush to my MIL house but they haven start to eat... Phew.... my MIL help me to take care of Xin Ru while the rest of us take the dinner.... After dinner, we play cards at the living room, watch TV till the new year arrives. shortly after the new year came, we went back to the hotel...

5th Day - 18th Feb ~ 1st Day of New Year
We have the same morning routine but for tat day, we did not go to the beach cause need to go over my MIL house to 'bai nian'...

After bathing and changing XinRu, we get ourselves prepared to go over my MIL's place liao...

We went to hubby's 2 auntie's house.. Collected some red packets and left back to hotel around 5+ in the late afternoon. As usual, XinRu take her nap and nite time we took our own dinner. As this was the last nite liao, so i have to packed the stuff that we will not be using the next day if not it will be very rush.

Last day - 19th Feb ~ 2nd Day of New Year
I woke up at 7am, took my shower, fed Xin Ru her milk and after hubby washed up, we left for breakfast... After the breakfast, we went back to finish our packin and left to my MIL's place to bid farewell... Like the previous visit, my MIL keep sayang Xin Ru... cannot bear to bid farewell... As my younger BIL is going out after sending us, so my MIL cannot send us to the airport.
We met my younger BIL's gf... hehe heard long time ago he got a gf but have yet to see the real person. She look quite pretty, slim,and wear a pair of glasses... Prefect match for the 2 of them... hehe
They send us to the airport, we went for Coffee Bean at the airport, chit chat a while and we went into the departure gate already.

The plane left earlier as per schedule and by the time we reach home, it was 3pm already.

Summary of the trip:
Although it was a long trip but i felt very happy thru the past few days cause it's more like a vacation to me as we are stayin in the hotel. The previous trip was ok but stayin at my MIL's place makes me feel like a guest more than a DIL cause everything including scoopin of rice, my MIL do for us... so it's like quite uncomfortable....
Although we spent quite a lot like airfare, hotels... but i tink it's worth it... cause i believe all of us enjoyed this trip and i am looking forward to the next one in Oct/Nov.... Yeah!!!

LNY Trip from 14th to 18th Feb-Part 1

We went over to Penang on 14th Feb (Valentine's Day...wow daddy bring us take plane for V Day leh... haha). We went earlier cause there are no tickets available. It was a wonderful trip although tiring... hehe

My mum took leave on 14th as she know that she will miss Xin Ru... so when we went to take a cab to Woodlands checkpoint, she send us to the cab...

We crossed Woodlands check-point then to Senai Airport. From Senai Airport, we took a coach to Malaysia Airport. The plane depart earlier then schedule time so by 130pm, we have already reach Penang. We did not inform my in-laws tat we will be there on that date cause we do not wan to trouble them to pick us and moreover, they have to work so dun wanna them to take leave just to accompany us...

Upon reaching the airport, we took a cab straight to the hotel... We stayed at Crown Jewel Hotel which is just opposite my MIL house. The rates were a bit high as it's peak season... Per nite was RM 203 and we stayed there for 5 nite... imagine how much we have spent on this trip....

Day 1 - 14th Feb
We did not go anywhere on the first day of the trip cause basically we are too tired liao... so rest for the day.

Day 2 - 15th Feb
We woke up around 630am. After feeding Xin Ru, we washed up and went down for breakfast, the breakfast was so-so only.. hehe but still can fill our stomach la... Although Xinru has taken her milk, but since she has already passed 1 yr old, i let her try some other things like cornflakes, honeystars with chocolate milk, egg white and etc...

After the breakfast, we went for a stroll at the beach.. The feelin was great, wakin up in the morning, strolling along the beach after breakfast... it's a dream life for me.... so carefree and relax...

After the walk, we will go back to the hotel room and XinRu will take her nap.. i will bath her and she will take her nap... She will nap for at least 2hrs and when she wake up, we went out to shop. Before going to shop, we went over to my MIL house... After which,we went to a Shopping Mall which need abt 30 mins of travelling time... We went to walk around the Mall, buy some Bak Kua for my MIL and we went to MacDonald to feed XinRu milk and we have a drink and we went to shop again...

We went back to the hotel around 5+ in the late afternoon and when we reach hotel, XinRu went for her nap again. She will wake up around her milk time then i will clean her up again and we will go for our dinner which is opposite the hotel. That will end another day of us...

Xin Ru's Birthday Party at the Infant Care

We celebrated Xin Ru's birthday at the infant care on her actual day, 8th Feb. Hubby and me took leave to go to her infant care and at the same time do some new year shopping...

Initially the party should starts at 10am but when we reached there after collecting the cake, the infant are all asleep already so was asked to come back in the afternoon. So i went to the salon first.

At 130pm, when we reach there, i change Xin Ru while the teachers get the babies around the table... It was a short and fun party... all babies are so excited and happy... Too bad that the toddler were sleepin but nevertheless, the cake was left for them to eat....

Xin Ru's 1st Birthday Pary - Part 2

Luckily ang pao will collected more than presents... hehe so my house wun be full of toys... hmmm which is now already is liao... :P

At around 815pm, we have our cake cutting session... My poor Xin Ru was sick so she was quite grouchy and tired so the pics are not so well taken... The cake was a present from my sis from Polar Puff, everyone says the cake was great...

After the cake eating session, guests starts to leave and was glad tat everything was well except that the birthday was sick.... :)

Xin Ru's 1st Birthday Party-Part 1

We celebrated Xin Ru's 1st Birthday in advance on 3rd Feb. As usual, my mom's side relative are invited, my close fren and my office frens are in too....

Buffet came around 5.30pm although it was kind of early but time seems passin by fast... Everything was set up and we were ready for the buffet... Well talkin about the decoration, really must thanks my sis, Issac, Huiping and Chris for helpin me to blow the balloon cause i scare of balloon..hehe

Initially decor was suppose to be a castle but the banner is simply too big.. so gotta do it simple...

Guests start coming in around 630pm.. Slowly my house got crowded and more crowded... Lucky my house is big enough.. hehe Lots of presents and ang pao were collected and kept by me... and her present were placed together at one side of the house..

Viral Fever...

Thursday late afternoon got a call from hubby tellin me that the infant care called and informed him that Xin Ru is running a temperature. Upon hearin it, i apply for time off to go and see her and bring her home. As usual, she was very happy when she saw me but her face showed me clearly that she is very uncomfortable... Poor gal.....
After bringing her home, accompany her and monitor her temperature and till nite comes, her temperature rose... up till 38.6 degree celsius... my hubby against of feedin her the medication so i have got no choice but to keep sponging her....
Her temperature went up and down but never went down below 37.5.. end up spendin the nite up, monitorin her temperature and sponging her.... time pass by and morning came, she is still not very well so i apply for urgent leave... but i still bring her to the infant care cause i need to clean up the house and make some preparation for her party the next day. but i instructed the teacher to give her the medication. Her fever finally subside and maintain normal till i bring her home in the later afternoon.
When hubby return from work, he saw Xin Ru's routine book from the infant care and was kind of unhappy that i ask them to give her the medication and give me e unhappy face but i cant be bother about him cause i tink the fever need to be pull down... Till night come and her fever rose again. Tis time round she is around 38.6 degree, no choice and under mom's saying, decide to bring her to see the doc...
We went to the clinic tat is together w my gynae cause her PD clinic already closed and i was shocked when i saw the temperature. It was 39.9 degree celsius.... i felt so pain in my heart.... doc mention is viral fever and say if we still dun let her take medication, might results in fits... i was so worried... and doc have to insert the bullet to bring her temperature down. True enough, her fever went down and she start to sweat... Was instructed to give her the medication 2 hrs later which is 12mm. As i was already lack of sleep and the heavy house work tat i have done, i dozed off and when i woke up, it's already 4am and true enough, her fever came back, i faster sponge her and let her take her medication and continue to monitor her temperature hourly. i felt so bad that i had dozed off if not she wun have feel so much of undomfort... Since i woke up at 4am, i din sleep and so i went to do the decor of the party. Till morning and till party...
At her party, she is not feelin well but still can see her smile at times... after the party, continue to take care and monitor her temperature... tis time round before i went to bed, i set alarm to wake me up to take her temperature. When i take her temperature at 4am+, temperature went up again and immediately i sponge her and give her medication... Till morning, she got a bit better... at least when she woke up, i can hear her blabbing and she is able to play her toys... my precious is on the recoverin path... so happy.....
In the afternoon, let her take medication and let her rest and finally when nite came, she is better already but still will feel her forehead on and off to make sure the temperatuer has been stable down...
Tis morning feel her again and well she is OK already and i finally can go to work feelin at ease... Really had a tough weekend....

I permed by hair the week before last weekend... and of course never miss the chance to take pic with my darling... hehe My darling like me also like to take pic... and well she entertain me with different facial expressions.... Thanks darling.... :)

Shopping for Chi-na clothing...

Tis is the 1st new year for Xin Ru... I always like small kiddies to wear those traditional new year wear on the 1st day of new year... and i really had a hard time searching cause my Xin Ru so slim... hehe but still managed to get 1 set.. hehe intending to let her wear when we go back to Penang....

Mummy, why have to buy clothing again when i got so many clothing liao??

Everything goes into the mouth

Currently Xin Ru is undergoing the theme 'Everything must put into the mouth to try'... so whatever she take, off it goes to the mouth... see what i mean by this...
