Moving on.....

It's time to official say byeee to this blog of 7 years..... Though the posting has been quite irregular. It holds the ultimate memories of my girl's growing up.... It definitely means a lot to me.... Closing of the blog does not mean anything... It's just that I have decided to do up another blog consisting of my family instead of having a blog for Xin Ru and another for Jia Le.... :)

It's Showtime!!

Xin Ru had her performance held at Braddell Height CC on 6 Sept 2012...
Her performance was from Phonics, The Skeleton Dance where they express the bones connecting to what bones to form a human body.... Next is from Chinese Speech & Drama, 新龟兔赛跑... Where she played the role as the rabbit... She did very well for both her performance and praises were given to her!! Good Job baby....
As usual, after the concert ended, the kids had their usual rounds of photo takings.... This batch of kids are so cute.... They are always ready to flash their smile and laughter to the cameras.... We haf quite a few shots of them....
I think not only Xin Ru will miss them... I will miss them too....

Graduation Photo Shoot in school

Xin Ru is havin her Graduation PS in school today.... Was told that I need to tied up her hair coz the teacher might not be in time to do that so I swop my leave that I have taken on 31 Aug to today....
Morning she woke up, washed up and get her ready... Plait up her hair on both side, put on her new blank school show and white sock... Initially intended to get her white shoe coz it looks more nice in white shoe and sock... But decided to changed it to black instead so next year she can still wear it for her Pri school....
Xin Ru was excited few days before the thing happen... And today after sending her to school, I went breaky with hubby and I walk back to the cc to peek... Managed to see her with the gown but without the 四方帽... :)
At that point of time, suddenly felt kind of emo... Haha my little baby has grown up.... I remember the first time she wore uniform for the Playgroup, I have the same feeling... Then she started her K1, I also felt the same...Every moving up phrase just make me feel a lot.... Maybe because she is a girl and she is very close to my heart... I always felt her as my closest dearie.....

Finally...

Phrase 2C for Pri 1 registration ends today... Thankful there is Sengkang Green Pri Sch... Else sure have to ballot as SK Green Pri takes up 109 seats... And Fernvale Pri has a balance of less than 50 seats.... Phew.....
The next thing is to wait for the letter to be informed of the orientation... Am so looking forward to it!!!

Update after Day 1 of Pri 1 registration

I went on to MOE website to check on the status after Day 1 of registration.  Should be quite safe for now as only 80 students has been registered.  I hope that the parents are all those Kiasu type who rushed to register on Day 1...  and hopefully no ballot is required....

Online Registration for Pri 1

Finally did the registration for little girl's Pri 1 registration on 27 July....today's the first day of online registration for the 40+ school for the first time... It was a simple and fast online thingy which last less than 5 mins...
Total vacancy for Phrase 2C is 153 seats so am quite confident that she will not have much problem in entering the school... Anyway, it's not a hot or popular school... More of the worry is many might register cause it's the only Pri school in this area... And the other school that is near to the LRT is very new so a lot like me might not quite like it....
Result of the registration will be out on 7 August 2012... :)

Penang Trip..

We were on a short holiday from 23-26 June to visit our family at Penang... This time round, arranged with hubby's younger brother to go back together...
It was a short trip but almost everyday we spend our meals with the families... I would say it was a fruitful one especially we will not be going back the coming lunar new year... This trip basically we went to visit hubby's grandma and spending time with the family...
Hubby told brother in law that I wanna eat Penang durian and he drove us to eat when we are returning to the hotel after visiting grandma... Thumbs up for the durian... Definitely taste a lot better than SG... Keke
Other than tat, this time round, we only went to Tesco for shopping... Did not buy a lot of things back as it was quite tiring for me to travel far... :p
The rest of the time was spent resting in the hotel and we are all tanned coz we swam everyday when we are there....
